We cover Qigong movement for health, Tai Chi foundations and some other fun techniques such as Tai Chi Stick, Tai Chi Fan or Tai Chi Sword techniques :)
Each class is a stand-alone session where you come to take part. Gently moving the body through a range of energy-exercises which promote good health and to calm and de-clutter the mind. The class is slow-paced and movements are preformed to your own personal comfort range.
Suitable for people with reasonable mobility, who perhaps can't commit to regular attendance or just prefer not to have to memorise a long sequence of Tai Chi.
We keep the movements simple so that even as a new joiner, you'll never feel out of your depth.
You can join this class at any time but check the dates below as we usually only operate 3 weeks a month.
Eggborough - Fridays 11.30-12.30pm
Rawcliffe Fridays 6.30 - 7.30pm
If you are able to commit to attending one of the two venues above x3 weeks a month and would like to STUDY the DEPTHS of Tai Chi in a more progressive manner, then our Friday Eggborough and Rawcliffe classes will suit you best :) These classes require booking in advance, by the half-term (6 weeks).
The progressive classes at Eggborough and Rawcliffe will be closed to additional new beginners beyond a certain point of progress. This is usually one term, but it depends on how many people renew / how often they attend & progress made.
Having a dedicated, closed group allows us to explore the underpinning principles of these energy arts so students will not only be able to execute the movements but also understand the WAY of movement in Tai Chi & Qigong (the Principles). This stimulates the brain and strengthens the body, improving the health of the individual, body mind and spirit.
If you miss a few classes here and there the class fee will still apply as the place you booked has your name on it and no-one else will use the place in your absence. You can leave by not renewing for the next block, but fees for the half-term you have paid for are non-refundable.
We are enrolling now for September intake in both our Rawcliffe and Eggborough venues.
You can book on to secure your September place via the Rawcliffe or Eggborough button below
If you are unable to attend the first half-term block it MAY be possible to join at the start of the second half-term if there are places left at that time. Drop us a message and we can put you on the waiting list to give you that option .

It's no surprise that doctors and physiotherapists refer their patients to my classes so they can help themselves to better health. Recently a doctor in Snaith referred a patient to our classes to hep with an ongoing health condition, to help them take back control of their health and wellbeing
